This was the point when I could finally re-install StoreMI 2.0. Then I found a StoreMI cleaner utility I ran that finally removed every last bit of StoreMI. I had to switch the storage controller drivers back to windows default.Īt this point, I tried installing StoreMI 2.0 again, and it almost would complete, then would abort at the end and uninstall everything again. It still wasn't working quite right when I got back into windows. I had to remove them using the command line from the recovery area. I did this and rebooted and it gave me a BSOD, but I figured out that it was because the uninstall didn't remove the storage controller drivers and they were still trying to be used by windows. I had to find the actual key/area involving the uninstall program to force it to run. ![]() The fix was convoluted, with me having to go into the registry with Regedit. It was a Ryon an Asus B450-F Gaming, and I upgraded it to Ryzen 5 3600, which lead to my woes. I had 2.0 going for about a week before my CPU died. I did have StoreMI 1.0 on the machine for over a year, and about a week ago I removed it and installed StoreMI 2.0. ![]()
